Of continuous interest to me are the varieties of interpretation and expression; exposure to different cultures and perspectives provides me with stimulation and inspiration. I explore the many levels of humanity from an intimate to a global level and celebrate its diversity and dualities. My attention and interest inevitably engages a holistic utilisation of the diverse elements that comprise the whole—a whole that may be understandable or ungraspable; a whole that is, like nature, both innate and surrounding. Savouring moments of guiltless abstraction and fluid expression, I am further inspired by possibilities and surpassing the boundaries of imagination and thought, exhilarated through creative energy. Always believing in something within and something beyond, while allowing that belief to be focused yet free—questioning the perspectives of perception itself.
