The Writer at Work

Upon the celebration of his 50th wedding anniversary, a reporter asked the writer E.B. White (Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, The Elements of Style): "To what do you owe the great success of your marriage?"

White answered: "My wife understands that when I am staring at the wall, I'm working."

Other views I've had have distracted me into taking a few photos, although somehow a lot of inspiration can come out of a simple, painted wall.

Cruising the Florida Jungle

An autumn afternoon tempered the humid, subtropical climate of central Florida providing an excellent opportunity to set out from the docks of an historic, 19th century inn, lazily floating across the calm waters of Lake Dora and down its picturesque canal.

I like the combination of this one: intimates, heart and hibiscus
